Hi! I’m Monti Shabout, founder of Apex Physician Strategies (APS). I describe myself as feisty, ambitious, and never willing to give up. I believe in purpose-driven interactions, building meaningful relationships, and never cutting corners. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, attended Texas A&M University for undergrad, and Queen’s University of Charlotte where I obtained my MBA. 

Most recently I worked for OI Infusion Services as a Director of Business Development, covering 8 states in the western half of the United States. Prior to OI I was employed as a Director of Development for US Renal Care where I successfully covered a geography that encompassed multiple states and brought multiple new partnership opportunities to the organization. Before US Renal Care I was employed as a Business Growth Specialist and then a Business Growth Strategy Manager for Texas Health Resources. My time within all these healthcare organizations has allowed me the opportunity to build valuable, long-lasting relationships and gain unparalleled insight and knowledge into the complex world of healthcare business development.

Growth is an integral part of success. I launched APS with physicians in mind. There are so many aspects of running a successful practice that it can get overwhelming, and unfortunately key aspects to growth are often overlooked or underprioritized. APS can not only help you identify areas of opportunity where you may be missing the mark, but we can also help you build and execute a strategy to maximize your practice’s growth potential.
